You will be a hands-on, key contributor in building our field marketing organization by managing the recruiting and onboarding process to attract and retain entry-level talent.   You will own the candidate experience by bringing excitement and positive energy to the hiring process through all interactions with prospective team members.

A successful candidate will develop and implement recruiting strategies and university outreach efforts that enhance Victory’s presence on-campus and in partnership with the field marketing team.

You will also assist with handling people operations activities that impact culture and employee experience, like employee relations, performance management, coaching, training, etc. and support culture-building and employee engagement activities with teams.

What does it take to be a successful Talent Specialist at Victory Innovations?

  • Bachelors degree in related field, preferably in human resources, business, management,
  • 1-3+ years of relevant talent acquisition support experience with high-volume hiring or start-up companies
  • Prior experience with university relations and campus recruiting programs a plus
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Self-motivator that can successfully plan, organize, and manage time effectively
  • Service-oriented and personable with ability to listen, communicate and present information effectively to individuals and groups
  • Passionate about people and building relationships
  • Growth-mindset with ability to learn, develop, and be curious
  • Flexible team player that can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Capable of working efficiently and savvy with technology such as Microsoft Office applications, HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and other business systems
